Private James Little

 

The background of this man is not known at present.

James Little enlisted at Belfast on 4 June 1917. He was described as being 5' 8" tall, and stated that he was 20 years old, was born in Carlisle, and worked as a labourer.

Between 26 June and 2 July 1917 he was posted to the North Irish Horse (regimental number 2566). He was reported to have deserted from the regiment's reserve base at Antrim on 28 July 1917. It is not known if he was subsequentially apprehended.
